Welcome to Weirder Together!
Hi.
We are Ione Skye and Ben Lee, a married couple of artists, a musician and an actress, that you may know a little or a lot about.
We’ve been making stuff individually and together for a long time now, and are excited to start exploring this new way of connecting and sharing with our audience and community here on Substack. We started a podcast called Weirder Together in 2021, that was a very laid back and cozy invitation into the way we connect, and people seemed to enjoy being part of our world.
The podcast grew into a network where we put out pods by our friends and peers like Lou Barlow, Jello Biafra and Safy Hallan-Farah.
…and then grew into a record label putting out music by artists like Georgia Maq, DeepFaith and Cameron James…
….and we even started hosting house concerts in our living room and events by excellent artists like Amyl & the Sniffers and Joanna Sternberg…
We now call WEIRDER TOGETHER a CREATIVE PRODUCTION HOUSE cos we make lots of different stuff, on our own and with other people we dig, with very few rules except that we have to dig it…Basically our marriage is a bit of a creative journey and we love sharing what we love, along with our own work.
So what can you expect on here?
